This week starts with a big full moon, so you’ll want to read both of these. As I have said before, we don’t live in one single energetic stream but many realities, and they cross as they will. I am not the boss of this.
If you’ve read the February full moon reading, you’ll know how true that is.
Keep your head up as we go into the weekly reading. Eyes on your own paper. Just keep going, no matter what.
The cards are:
- King of Wands, Reversed
- 10 of Pentacles
- 6 of Wands
- The Magician, Reversed
- Queen of Pentacles, Reversed
Right off the bat, I’d say this is a week for regular folks. We have both a king and a queen reversed, and a reversed Magician, so that puts these fancy cards on the back foot while 10 of Pentacles has a party, and 6 of Wands charges forward with new inspiration.
What to do with a reversed king? And for that matter, a reversed queen? We’ve disabled both sides of the operation, our masculine energy of getting things done out in the world and our feminine energy of throwing coals on the internal fires of imagination. The feminine conceives, the masculine makes physical.
When masculine and feminine sides of our energy work together well, we make thoughtful decisions and take good action.
When our inner Magician is running full speed, he’s become aware of how much stuff he can make in the world.
So this week, we have to take those pieces off the board. This is not a week during which the cards advise us to undertake remaking things in our physical world, or adding to it. We won’t make good decisions and we won’t like what we end up with.
The imagining, making, and attaining of stuff – things that bring real pleasure to kings, queens, and magicians – these pursuits are not well favored this week.
What to do instead? 10 of Pentacles is a card of real satisfaction with what we already have, and our ability to share it with loved ones. Six of Wands is a bold declaration of self. Don’t listen to the people who might, this week, use their own failure to get anything done to try and guilt or leverage you into doing things for them.
Show them what you’ve already got, and be proud of it.
