March 9-15, 2026
Hope you enjoyed the last week of confusion and hunkering down; I don’t know how long this goes on but good news: in a rambling post planned for later this week, I’ll debut my new world philosophy and religion. No spoilers but you’ll want to saddle up your ostrich because we ride at dawn.
Otherwise, here is the reading for this week. Yes, I know, they are usually terrible which is what wore me out before, doing video readings on YouTube and having to tell you every week that things were still lousy! We are YEARS into this. YEARS. I don’t know how to make it better, except to tell you the truth of what I get from the cards, so you can weather this storm.

This week I thought, well, maybe I’ll just put out MORE cards than usual. Did it work, or is it similar to when I get nervous about something I’ve cooked and just keep adding stuff because I can’t get it to Taste Right? If it is accurate, can’t it say it in three cards as well as seven, or ten?
It definitely can. The problem is not the cards, it’s the reader. These are unsettling times, and current events create a personal filter of my own feelings about them that I find hard to step back from, some days. Remember that if you are doing your own readings, or when you look at readings done by others.
Energetic weather forecast for this week, so you’ll know if you need a scarf or an umbrella, goes like this:
- Magician, reversed
- Page of Pentacles, reversed
- The World, reversed
- 2 of Swords
- Empress
- 3 of Swords
- 7 of Pentacles
This reading has two sections; the big section of three cards that come first, and then the quieter closing segment.
Reversed, reversed, reversed. Money is a huge concern, how to get it, how to use it, how to have enough. So much worry and no resolution in sight!

But after placing us in this setting, the reading is more targeted with the last four cards: we are the only ones that can make decisions about our security and most particularly, what we invest in and how we plan for the future. There will need to be sacrifices and a prioritization of what we thought was most important; almost like an overnight thing. It’s that immediate. You might be compelled to make a sudden decision about what you need to do for security, and how to get through. Delays and reframing how we see things. We are prompted to review what we already have at hand, ready to go, and hold off getting spendy on new purchases. These are heavy days. There is no amount of ketchup I can pour on this reading to make the week get any better. We do what we can and keep going.
