Full Moon Reading April 2, 2026

It always seems a lengthy task to wring two weeks of energy out of a simple reading, but then the time zips by and here we are again. Two weeks goes faster than it used to.

Full moons bring us the results of all that wishing and hoping we did on the new moon. Or put another way, we start endeavors and then a bit later, begin to see results come in. And with that, we have information which will allow us to improve, address, or remake what we’re doing.

Full moons have a bad reputation for making people crazy. Maybe it is because, energetically, all the stuff we’ve thrown out to sea in little bottles suddenly starts rolling up on shore in recognizable form, and it’s a lot to deal with.

This two week cycle’s energy focus, so you can plan accordingly:

  • Strength
  • 6 of Swords
  • Hierophant, reversed
  • Lovers
  • 4 of Cups
  • 5 of Cups reversed

The first thing I must say is, where’s the fire? This is a spread of hasty action and regret!

So don’t do that, for God’s sake.

It starts with plenty of rousing full moon energy to make us feel confident; confident enough to push ahead despite murky advice that may not hold up. We don’t care, we’re righteous in our determination to have what we want! Nobody can convince us that we’re setting sail on the incoming, not the outgoing, tide.

But alas, 4 of Cups. What we thought looked like an answer to all our longings turns out to be more of the same old, same old and does not to satisfy. Worse, 5 of Cups reversed so we learn absolutely nothing from this spectacle.

“Oh, great,” you are groaning now. “Why did I read this? I don’t need two weeks of this crap.” Agreed, friend, agreed.

I offer two points. One, if you know there is a chance for something to fail, you are more prepared for it when it does, if you do go ahead with it. And two, you could NOT GO AHEAD WITH IT. How about that?

As the next two weeks line up, please make scrupulous review of all your various plans and see if one of them stands out as a kind of Hail Mary scheme with absolutely nothing going for it except your complete self-assurance that you, of all people, are the one to pull it off. And then scratch it off your list. Because it is destined to be a whopping let down and leave you right back where you started.

I’m not often that boldly direct but in this case, the cards couldn’t be any clearer. And if you don’t have anything planned yourself, then be careful about what folks bring you, or try to pull you into. A mess, is what it is, a big fat mess. You’ll do well to stay clear of ventures with big promises and instead stick firmly with what you know, until the moon changes again.
