Weekly Tarot Energy Reading

March 23 – 29, 2026

Did you enjoy last week’s Lenormand cards? I did, so they’re back! I like using them for more context. First the Tarot spread, though. Only one reversed card this time, so maybe we’ll find a little river that will carry us downhill. Just pick up your feet and float with the current.

  • Death
  • 6 of Wands
  • 4 of Wands
  • 5 Of Swords, reversed
  • The Moon

For starters, rapid and complete transformation! That’s big. And I’m impressed with the 6 of Wands and 4 of Wands following right on its heels; that 6 of Wands is a ticker tape parade and a big show meant for maximum response. 6 of Wands says, “We’re going in an entirely new direction and have completely cleared the runway, so everybody clap!” And we do.

After that, the 4 of Wands focuses on private celebrations anchored in deep contentment.

Big transformation, parade through downtown with couple hundred thousand strangers, pizza party at my house!

Screeching halt, though, with that 5 of Swords. Yes, hello Swords, we see you, scrambling to get yourself together to insert some energy into this – good luck shouting over those Wands!  This is like some 80s fraternity comedy where everybody is having a great time partying at the frat house, and some nerd comes in and implores them to stop because they have finals the next day.

That’s reversed 5 of Swords. The nerd, I mean. And nobody is listening; they just turn up the volume on the music and keep dancing. If the 5 of Swords was upright, he might irritate enough people with his strident demands that he would either A) ruin the party and cause all the other Wands to take it someplace else or B) get himself beaten up by some Pentacles bros. But he’s reversed, so instead he’ll just be ignored. Hmm.

And I say hmmmmm because it is never a good idea to take things for granted, or ignore some little dude desperately trying to make a point, when the Moon shows up in a reading. Its message is always, “Things are not what they seem” and a caution to slow down and check out the situation thoroughly before simply accepting what you are told about it.

Which gives us an interesting combination; reason to celebrate and feel good, but also indication of a communication being missed (possibly deliberately obscured,) which could have bearing on the situation at large.

Could Lenormand help us with some details about what to watch for? God, I hope so. Lenormand cards are meant for specifics so I will phrase it like this, “What events or highlights should we be aware of for the next week?”

  • Anchor
  • Fish
  • Dog
  • Rider
  • House

Well, golly! This is excellent. The Anchor is a card of stability, as is the House. When you let down the anchor, you stop your roaming and plan to stay a while in a certain position; presumably, a good captain would only let down anchor where it was safe. The Fish card is about plentiful resources. Anchor and Fish as a combo? Excellent.

Then the Dog is not just symbolic of trust, but of loyalty and bonding. The Rider shows up with news, and he is usually a character we welcome. Pair him with the Dog and it indicates this Rider is especially reliable.

Then the House! The House makes me think of the 4 of Wands in the earlier spread; our Tarot indicator of an opportunity to relax and celebrate with people we care most about is emphasized by this Lenormand card.

Gosh that’s a good spread. It would mean the earth not shaking under our feet so much, welcome news from a source we trust, and the sense of contentment we get from knowing our home is secure.

It dovetails with our Tarot reading, where we look for sudden movement, celebration, and reassurance. I don’t want to make too much out of that 5 of Swords reversed, but I can’t ignore it with the Moon sliding into frame for backup, though.

Enjoy next week. Is this a turning point? Is the world going to get fixed, finally? Will things start to feel normal again now? I don’t think we’re there yet. But if we’re going to get a breather, take every advantage of it. We’ve earned it.
