We’re half in and half out this week:
- 9 of Pentacles reversed
- 2 of Swords reversed
- 4 of Swords reversed
- 8 of Pentacles
- King of Wands
- 3 of Cups
But that’s a clear strategy; scrap whatever you planned to do initially, or the reasonable and customary, and divert course. It’s not a week that sends you clarity about decisions or the sense of knowing exactly the right way to go.
That 8 of Pentacles is a sturdy, reliable friend in a spread when he is surrounded by friendlies, and there is nobody more friendly that King of Wands. King of Wands is the kind of king who would, historically, rule over an era that flourishes with expansion of arts and sciences, and ushers in all kinds of new thought.
King of Wands says, “Let’s have some fun.”
8 of Pentacles says, “I’m on it,” and builds, efficiently and on budget, a great hall in which to showcase wondrous and novel things.
And you gather up some good pals, and off you go to the exposition, stopping first of course to have brunch with mimosas.
If you look at the week you had planned, you might see your path splitting or at least the option to make that happen; you’d be wisest to drop all ambitions of hacking your way down the path that desperately needs maintenance and attention. Pack a picnic basket and go instead on the smooth and easy trail, and stop by the river for unstructured time off.
(Of course you can ignore this and still do what you planned. You can do the “half out” thing rather than be half in. The cosmic forces wish you good luck with that!)
