Weekly Tarot Energy Forecast

June 1-7, 2026

The Blue Moon reading that kicks off June is such a double handful of buffalo chips, I hardly know why we need to drill down to what this first week, at least, might mean for us; but I’m doing it anyway. You can go read that Full Moon forecast if you haven’t, and you might also consider the post about Lunar Magic, too. No reason not to at least try and make something out of whatever energetic weather is thrown at us. It’ll feel better than sitting there staring at it, trying to figure out if you want to nudge it with your shoe or leave it alone.

This week’s offering looks like this:

  • Death reversed
  • The World
  • Ace of Pentacles reversed
  • 8 of Wands reversed
  • Judgement reversed
  • The Sun reversed

Oh, good lord. But I kind of feel relieved because it is highly unlikely to ever get percentages of reversed cards like we got for this and for the Blue Moon reading, ditto these Major Arcana appearances, and that means: Something Is Going On, For Sure. It means, Elizabeth is not crazy and that makes me feel better.

The World, my friends, is not reversed. Everything else – our fresh starts, our shifting of burdens, our completion of transitions, our renewed clarity and perception – nope, none of that is in evidence yet but somehow, there’s the World, like a guy waving a lantern on a dock in the dark, and we’re in sight of the harbor.

It is implied in the World card that we’ve circumnavigated our own globe, and even if the ship limps into port with tattered sails, almost all the beer gone, half the ropes and some deck boards missing, we still made it.

This is a one card reading, with those other cards reversed and basically unconsciousness, and we can be overwhelmingly thankful that the energy we do find active is enough to get us to shore.

I wrote about the Full Moon reading for May 31st that you should get some duct tape and put it across your mouth for the next two weeks. This reading reinforces that; perhaps this week we’ll have plenty to moan about as we try to rouse those reversed cards and check them for any sign of life (there is none) but the World, y’all. The World.

It’s jaw-dropping (all things considered) to get this card, which is a magnificent card of not giving up. You may be the last person to cross the finish line but still there will be some people waiting to give you an icy cold bottle of sports drink and clap you on the back, even if you do throw up and fall down immediately after. It’s okay, just rest. And try to take small sips.

Do not complain about anything this week, even if you do have to resort to the duct tape. Despite the challenges, something has worked out. Speak about it quietly and let that be your focus, and know how lucky you are, if the rest of the planet is not so fortunate.
